In 1957 my mother took me to see Elvis Presley in Toronto. I knew then I wanted to be on stage.
In 1964 I saw The Beatles and knew i'd be a musician..
In 1964 I began playing Bass guitar and was in my 1st band, The Innkeepers.
In 1967 I fronted a Motown/R&B band in Toronto called Target.
I then returned to playing Bass in a Psychedelic band, Mickey Rat, in 1971 in Ottawa til 1973.
I returned to Toronto to join a recording band, Dixie Rumproast, and began touring Canada.
I played in an acoustic Duo with Canadian Songwriter Eddy Schwartz for a few years where i was inspired by his songwriting talent.
After burning out from the road I joined aToronto
wedding/bar mitzvah band (The Saul Helman Orchestra) and stayed
there until 1977. I was hired for the pit in a Toronto production of The Rocky Horror
Picture Show in 1979 which lasted 1 year and joined Songwriter Gary O'Connor in an original Rock Band called Kid Rainbow.
I toured with Shirley Eichart in 1977 and Billy Durst across Canada in 1981.
After touring I began a ZZTOP Tribute Band with my boyhood friend, Jon Bojicic.
We played for 27 years in which we toured The USA, Canada and Scandinavia extensively.
Along the way I began to write my own material and had my 1st CD with MCA Records(distribution) in 1989. In the 90's & early 2000's I toured with Tres Hombres everywhere.
In 2010 I recorded an American Civil War Retrospective CD and toured as a solo acoustic
performer throughout the America Deep Southern States.
In 2011 I moved from Toronto to Vancouver Island where I now reside.
I have recorded 9 CD's and continue to perform in Bistro's and Cafes.
In 2018 I worked on a BLUES CD with Victoria Blues Guitar whiz, Bill Holtom. The CD, Porch Swing, was our "baby".
I have two ROCK projects in Victoria. 1st is ELIMINATOR, a ZZTOP Tribute and the other is my newest endeavour, "THUNDER ROAD", a Bruce Springsteen Concert Experience with an amazing 10 piece band..
I continue to write.
